The Township of North Stormont is holding an Open House on Tuesday October 30th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to gain feedback on the proposed grants programs for the Community Improvement Plan.
A short presentation will be provided at 7 p.m. to go over the proposed programming.
A Community Improvement Plan is a financial municipal tool that municipalities can use to assist in the redevelopment and improvement of commercial businesses. The Community Improvement Plan sets out programs and strategies for improving the built, economic and social environment in designated areas.
Members of the community are encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas on the proposed funding program either in person through the open house or in writing.
The Township is proposing five (5) funding programs through the Community Improvement Plan. Details on each of the programs are provided in the flyers below.
