Please help PSHSA celebrate the day of Mourning which is celebrated yearly on April 28. This day is dedicated to the memories of those that have died as a direct result of their work or work activities.
If you can please take the time to light the “candles” to acknowledge to the families of these workers this is why we do what we do to make the workplace safer. This year seems to have special significance with the pandemic with the first healthcare worker dying only a few weeks ago as a result of her exposure to COVID-19 at the workplace and with many of our workers having to work at home or with greater measures in place. You may also want to share this link with your staff to remind them that’s why we have policies and procedures in place to manage our risks so tragedies are rare. Like the protocols for COVID-19 everyone needs to work together for them to be effective.
