Dennis Fife


Dennis and his wife, Mary, are the owners of Fife Agricultural Services, located on County Road 43, west of Finch. He has been a resident of North Stormont for 40 years, and has served on the Council of North Stormont Township for 6 terms – 4 as Mayor.  Dennis is the longest serving member of the SD&G County Council being a member for over 14 years,  and is Chair of the Police Services Board, a Board member of the Glen Stor Dun Lodge for 8 years, and is Chairman of the Finchview Villa Board of Directors.  Dennis and Mary are the proud grandparents of two granddaughters and one grandson.

Bill McGimpsey

Deputy Mayor

Bill is a graduate of the Canadian Securities Institute as well as a Certified Financial Planner. The CFP designation is issued by the Financial Planners Standards Council. He is also licensed to sell Life Insurance.

Bill is actively involved in local politics and presently sits as a member of various community and volunteer groups. This is Bill’s fifth term on Council.

Jim Wert


Jim, Nancy and their four sons own and operate Stanlee Farms east of the village of Avonmore.  It is a dairy and cash crop operation.  As a lifelong resident of North Stormont Jim has been a member of numerous community based and agricultural organizations.

Randy Douglas


Randy has lived in North Stormont since 1988.  His entire career has been spent as an investment advisor, and he holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.  He has volunteered for several local organizations for years, and stays active via participating in triathlon endurance events.

François Landry


Fançois Landry has been a resident of North Stormont all his life, and is Office Manager for Annis O’Sullivan Vollebekk Land Surveying Firm in Embrun.  Frank is a Captain as well as the Training Officer for the North Stormont Fire Department (Crysler Station) and also a dedicated volunteer with various committees.
