BERWICK, Ontario - The Monkland Recreation Centre is currently closed to the public. The Township of North Stormont has decided to close the centre until a new volunteer committee can be established.
Recently the Monkland recreation volunteer committee members resigned. The Township of North Stormont expresses it gratitude and heartfelt thanks to committee members who gave of their time to ensure residents had engaging and popular recreation programming.
For inquiries regarding Monkland recreation programming, facility rentals or if you wish to apply to be a member of a reconstituted recreation committee, please feel free to contact the township municipal office at 613-984-2821.
