MOOSE CREEK, Ontario - The Canada Community Revitalization Fund contributed $750,000 for the new Moose Creek recreation facility.
Township administration, along with federal partners with the Federal Economic Development Agency, worked collaboratively throughout the project to maximize federal funding dollars to complete this community hub. Community centres provide a safe environment to learn and develop strong community relationships.
Community centres also provide public space to strengthen family bonds, expand community interactivity, encourage personal well-being and provide a location to support communities in crisis/emergnecy events.
The focus of the community centre will be to inspire creativity, champion resident investment within their own community and to encourage the community to embrace and celebrate rural culture.
