The Township of North Stormont and the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) wish to advise users of Crysler’s Drinking Water System that warranty repairs on Crysler’s elevated water storage tank are scheduled to take place between Sunday, June 23 and (tentatively) Saturday, July 6, 2024.
The water tower will be drained for the maintenance work to be carried out. During this time, the village’s water distribution system will be fed directly by pumps at the Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Residents are asked to reduce their use of the municipal drinking water system as much as possible to ensure sufficient supply during high demand periods.
Water users must refrain from drawing large quantities of water from the drinking water system during this time.
