

BERWICK, ONTARIO - The Township of North Stormont is seeking an individual to sit as a member of the Community Improvement Advisory Committee.
The committee’s mandate is to review submitted applications for the Community Improvement Fund and to make recommendations for the distribution of Community Improvement Plan (CIP) monies to local projects, by way of Council resolution.
The Community Improvement Advisory Committee will evaluate each CIP application.
The Community Improvement Advisory Committee is comprised of two members of Council, two members of administration and one public member, appointed by Council.
The committee will also be tasked with providing recommendations for changes to the CIP that may arise through the evaluation of application forms. Proposed changes should speak to clarifying eligibility criteria, program requirements and creating efficiencies within the CIP process.
The committee term will mirror that of Council.
The deadline to apply is 4 p.m., Feb. 28, 2025.
