GFL (Lafleche Environmental)
The Township of North Stormont is fortunate enough to have a privately run waste handling facility located within its borders. Lafleche Environmental has been in existence since the early 2000’s and provides a variety of services to the municipality and surrounding area. Each year, all property owners within the Township of North Stormont are permitted one waste certificate. This entitles you to bring up to 500 kg of waste to the waste handling facility. Additionally Lafleche Environmental runs a mattress recycling program as well as an electronic drop off program.

Renewable Energy Projects
The Township of North Stormont has instituted a Renewable Energy Protocol for any individual or organization who are seeking a municipal resolution of support under the Feed-In-Tariff (FIT) program. The protocol requires that more information be provided as well as a prescribed fee.
